Paul William Gibson is a solo singer-songwriter from Warwickshire in the Midlands of England, writing and playing original songs with a roots, folk and Americana flavour. Paul walks the line between the contemporary folk and Americana worlds, his songs showcasing a strong melodic and poetic core. His lyrics are observational, character driven and confessional.
Following two successful EPs Homespun (August 2022) and Chasing Sunsets (May 2023), Paul released his debut full length album These Elusive Days to enthusiastic, positive reviews in October 2023. Paul has been supported by local and national radio, including BBC Introducing, as well as national press and music blogs, and is currently recording new material for release in 2024.
Recent appearances include: Banbury Folk Club headline show; CV Folk at the Albany Theatre, Coventry; Motofest; BBC Radio Oxford live session and interview; Kineton Music Festival, Come and Be Festival.
